Interesting 1.5 cent prexy use from Kansas City, Missouri. Solo use on a small size invitation or card envelope, perhaps a birth announcement or something similar. Roller cancel; no date. Mailed at printed matter (third class) rate; but it was examined by a postal clerk and found to contain writing, thus was required to be mailed as first class matter. Postage due 1.5 cents; paid with a pair of 1 cent dues at lower left. Uncommon example of “examined” mail. SOLD
